The perspectives of Russian business involvement in Africa’s energy projects

Abstract:

The article considers the main spheres of Russian–African business cooperation in energy sector: oil and gas exploration and production, including infrastructure creation; renewable energy resources development with the aim of meeting growing consumption; atomic energy project realization for peaceful purposes. It analyses the experience and perspectives of Russian energy companies’ operation on African market, underlining the importance of detailed studies of all aspects, especially legal ones, for doing business
