Abstract:
The article analyzes the changes which occurred in the character, direction and the strength of the impact of external (exogenous) factors on the African economy during the period 2007-2014. These include the issues of foreign aid, the term of trade, investment, money transfer and the policies of international institutions, some world powers and transnational corporations for Africa. The author shows that Africa still stands in the world economy as a part of the periphery, where the conditions of participation in international cooperation and exchange today in the majority are determined not so much by herself as her partner.
