Abstract:
The article analyses the influence of Islam on the development of the trade union movement in North Africa. The first craft blotherhoods in the region are considered as the prototype of modern trade unions. It is stressed in the article that Islam is the modern – ism – in the world and plays an important role on the geopolitical level.
The author also concludes that the flag of Islam will be certainly among the banners of the workers in the struggle for their rights.

Необходимо отметить, что подобное отношение к мусульманам возникло не сразу, а в результате деятельности самих мусульман. Известно, что Великобритания находится на втором месте в мире после Франции по числу подданных, которые воюют в Сирии и Ираке на стороне ИГ.
