Abstract:
The article is devoted to the analysis of the current state of trade unions and the trade Union movement in Senegal. It discusses the history of the Senegalese trade Union movement in colonial and post-colonial period, its problems and peculiarities in the new conditions of the globalization era, as well as important geopolitical changes in the international scene. At the same time analyzes the causes, which, in the author’s opinion, will contribute to the weakening of the trade Union movement not only in single country but also internationally.
