Abstract:
The article examines the role of aggressive non-state actors (ANSA) of international relations in global politics and the strategic balance of power on the example of the African region and its current realities. The emphasis is placed on developing an in-depth and detailed theoretical understanding of the changing role of state and non-state actors as participants in international relations, the significance of national interests and power, and, in a broader sense, the essence of what is happening on the world stage. The article also highlights particular aspects of ANSA operations in the greater “Islamic Africa”, which includes North Africa, the Sahel region, and the Horn of Africa.
