Abstract:
The article deals with the electoral process in the Republic of Uganda. The concerning matters are characterised rather comprehensively, including the history of the development of the electoral system of the country and its legal base. Special attention is paid to the tripartite elections (presidential, parliamentary and local) held in 2011.
