Abstract:
The rule of the first president of Côte d’Ivoire F. Houphouet-Boigny was marked by a series of reforms in the socio-economic and political spheres. The reforms mostly affected parliamentary and presidential elections. The progress toward political pluralism in the country was genuine and had a great political significance.
